Full Moon Meditation
with Devinder Kaur (Alison)
Thursday, December 8th
5:45 PM - 7:15 PM

"Experiencing yoga and meditation at the Full Moon when the energy of the universe is at its highest, will enhance the benefits of the meditation a thousand fold.

The moon has always been an integral part of our lives. Whether it is celebrating a festival or starting an auspicious task, or meditating, we consider the movements of the moon. The moon represents our human self and the full moon in particular symbolizes the state of wholeness that human being attains at full self-realization.

Enjoy this special class that calls upon the powerful energy of the full moon. We will learn the astrology for the Full Moon and do a short yoga set (kriya) and meditation that taps into the qualities of the full moon energy. Our class concludes with a deep relaxation with the healing sounds of the Gong and Crystal Singing Bowls!

What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket/shawl & show up early! Complimentary homemade organic cookies and a warming cup of Yogi Tea served after class. All ages and abilities welcome!

Cost: Use your PranaShanti Class Card or Sign Up Now with a Drop-In Fee.

Note: The day of the Full Moon is particularly good for fasting on lemon water with a natural sweetener because the secretions in your body will be at their maximum (thanks to the magnetism of the moon). You may not want your energy being used to digest food ... save your energy to reconstruct yourself. Try to drink only liquids on this day. Or, you could eat very lightly and drink the lemon & water.
